Serentera is a interpretation of the intersection between the landscape of experience and intentional design, combining the words serene & terra. Serentera's work is defined by the refusal to see the world as others do, it views the world as a constant flow of inspiration, especially within the 'ordinary'.
Hi! I'm Emma Clough
I'm a Communication Designer completing my BA Honours in Visual Communication, working where photography and design meet, and exploring what the two can achieve together. I'm drawn to complex, conceptual briefs, and enjoy reshaping problems, approaching them from unexpected angles, and looking for what others overlook.
Currently, my honours project is investigating communication design as an active tool for decolonial conservation, combining theoretical research with photography. I feel deeply, and I design from that place, turning complexity into something people can feel as well as understand. My work takes people on emotional journeys and shows them what they couldn't see before.
